Gargamelo Pension - Porec

The swimming pool was good and the breakfast was plentiful and fine. The location was marvellous - within short walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Stunningly beautiful hotel with welcoming staff for a wonderful stay. A wide range of excellent food at breakfast time. Big beds, good location in the nice garden. And just next door to Gargamelo, the downtown of Porec, and beaches with free parking...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gargamelo Pension and would go back in a flash. Everything was very good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful whenever I had questions.

Very good localisatino to explore Istria - 1,8 km from the cost (nice, semi wild beach) and ca 4 km to the city center. The owner of the hotel manages tourist information office located in the same building and speaks many languages which gives you access to all necessary information and usefull tips. The hotel has nice terrace where you can eat tasty breakfest or dinner (the restaurant is open from 19-22 and serves good food). Large rooms - we had a view to the sea. Wifi is working well. Free parking, no problems with finding place.

Friendly staff but unfortunately was not helpful for us. Clean room.

The hotel is located far from the porec center ~ 5km. Tv did not work. Staff accepts only cash payment.

The room was spacious, the bed was a good size, and the breakfast offered plenty of food including complimentary coffee.

The hotel owner is both social, friendly and service-minded. This makes that a pleasant atmosphere also spreads among guests. A family feeling arise - something you rarely experience.

We've enjoyed our stay in this cosy hotel. We loved the smell of the trees at the entrance, we came at a fantastic time for that. The staff is very friendly and they serve "delicous food!" Nice rooms, thanks for the extra view...

Review of Gargamelo Pension in Porec

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming family-run hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Our queen room was well-equipped with an electric kettle, air conditioning, and a safe for our belongings. the location was peaceful, providing a wonderful retreat, and being in a residential area added to the serene atmosphere.

The service here was good. My exceptionally comfortable room had central heating, a work desk, and multi-channel television, which was really great. the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with free coffee; the food was brilliant. the hotel is in a peaceful and excellent location, close to downtown Porec.

The staff at Gargaemlo Pension were extremely helpful and friendly. It is kind of far from the center and I think a car is necessary. The room we had was okay but not great. We couldn't get the tv to work at all and there was only basic necessities in the kitchen area. No dish soap etc. The room was clean but noisy as the outdoor eating area for the restaurant was directly below and even though the windows were closed it was like they were open ( we checked the windows two or three times thinking they were open) As I said, it was okay.... But not great!

The staff was ecellent, and the service was very good.

Very good pansion with a very good restaurant.

Not so close to the beach (you will need a car to reach it).

We were very satisfied with all services - personal was very helpful, breakfest OK, as well as dinner. Location of the pension is a little bit far from the see, but it doesn't matter at all. I think we will come next year too.
